From birthday parties to full week long training camps are held in our Dojo. Junior events are frequent here at the dojo, it’s great for the kids and parents alike.

Can I do Aikido if I am unfit?

No-one is born fit – we've all started somewhere. Your classes will be tailored to your own abilities to make sure you get the most out of every lesson. Besides you will be in a class with other new starters just like yourself as well as experienced students to help you out every step of the way, so it’s a great way to make friends whilst you travel the road to fitness!

Will this really prevent my child being bullied?

If you are looking at martial arts as a way to help your child overcome bullying, then the path starts with their confidence. Using gentle encouragement from our instructors, we teach that everybody has his or her own unique talents, and must respect and be respected. A happy, healthy, confident child will be a far less attractive target to any prospective bully. We also will teach your child self defence so they can keep themselves safe.

Do I have to be strong to do martial arts?

No, In Aikido we focus on technique and proper form, We believe it is about efficiency in movement, effectiveness and balance.
