Robert Mustard Shihan (8th Dan) – Aikido Yoshinkai Burnaby
Robert Mustard (8th Dan, Shihan) is the Chief Instructor at Aikido Yoshinkai Burnaby. He is one of the most sought after seminar leaders and aikido teachers in the world today. His martial arts career spans over 40 years, 10 of which were spent at the Yoshinkan aikido headquarters in Japan. While there, he was awarded the title of Chief Foreign Instructor by Gozo Shioda Kancho. He dedicates his time and teaching to furthering the ideals of strong yoshinkan aikido and budo.
Joe Thambu Shihan (8th Dan) – Aikido Shudokan
Thambu Shihan, the Chief Instructor of Aikido Shudokan, has been a practitioner of Aikido for over 36 years. During this time, he has trained under many great Instructors, including; Soke Shioda Gozo, the founder of Yoshinkan Aikido, Inoue Kyoichi Kancho, Chida Tsutomu Shihan and Takeno Takefumi Shihan, all influential Aikido teachers, Thamby Rajah Sensei, Don Draeger Sensei, Soke Obata Toshishiro, the founder of Shinkendo and Shihan Nariyama Tetsuro, the Chief Instructor of Tomiki Aikido. All of these instructors are world-renowned Martial Artists.
